Let's go on an adventure to create imaginative, figurative forms.

This class covers non-functional ceramics and ways to use clay to create sculptures. Students create freestanding, handmade pieces using sculptural techniques including coil building, slab forming, carving, and working with simple clay forms. We will play with working in slip cast elements.

Bring your personal stories, symbols, dreams, and myths to life with this figurative themed project. We will use low-temperature clay methods for surfaces and firing. Bring your sketchbook, tools, and a sense of adventure.

All supplies and tools are provided.

Please bring a lunch the first day.

Snacks can be brought to share.

Pieces will be available for pick up one and a half to two weeks after the workshop.
