Let’s create magic for the garden! Katrina did a funny thing during the Pandemic. She saved all her toilet and paper towel rolls. Sometimes, inspiration is a funny thing. It turns out, they were for making garden totems. Who would have imagined? She designed this workshop to be fun and playful. We will learn how to make stackable elements for sculptures using a concrete clay. Elements of this workshop include, design and inspiration; faux bois effects; coloring the concrete; and dangles and beads (useful for attracting faeries). She will also demonstration elements for your totem that may be mosaicked after the concrete has cured 5 full days. Mosaic is optional, but it is a fun addition to the sculpture. All materials are included in this boutique style workshop.
NOTE: You need only show up and bring a good dust mask and your own lunch. The concrete clay is not something you want to get in your lungs.
