En Plein Air is the French word for “outdoors.” Painting in natural light became popular during the mid 19th-century during the age of Impressionism. Whether you are a beginner or a seasoned pastelist, this workshop offers the opportunity to create a beautiful landscape scene in a positive and encouraging environment. We will be painting from the natural beauty and landscape offerings of the Dallas Arboretum in celebration of the Fall season. Instructor will be demonstrating step by step instructions for those that are new to the medium.

NOTE: Meet inside main ticket booth entrance.

Please bring a lunch or plan to eat at the Arboretum’s restaurant.

Watercolor & Pastels are welcome to this workshop. Watercolor materials provided.
