Delve into the magic of glass art. Stained glass is an ancient art form that can represent it's traditional beginnings or very contemporary ideas depending on the design and glass used. You will learn and develop glass cutting skills in order to fit the beautifully colored glass into their designs. The glass pieces will then be wrapped with copper foil and soldered in place. Fused glass pieces and /or other objects can be incorporated into the designs. Structural and installation issues will be addressed . All levels are welcome. Glass and glass cutting tools as well as soldering irons will be provided. A list of other supplies will be given out in first class. The number of projects finished in a session will depend on the individual's skill level and complexity of the design chosen.
