Working in a non-toxic studio, Teachers will master the nuances of full color printing. Through the process of Monotype, we will explore color theory, layering techniques, basic registration practices and introduce the effects of texture and pattern. Whether you have access to a press or not, this workshop will open the path to creating original full color prints while using simple tools and commonly found materials. If you are curious about printmaking, feed your artistic soul and discover the magic of color printing.
This workshop provides 12 hours of professional development (including certificate).
There will be a one-hour lunch break and you can bring a lunch or visit the nearby restaurants in Deep Ellum.
