The course will include some construction in weeks 1-3. This class will teach you the basics of raku firing. There will be 2-3 types of firing. You will leave class with a basic understanding of what types of clay to use, glazing, appropriate clothing to wear when firing, and what to expect when raku firing. We will be firing the raku kiln weeks 3-8.
