Join us for a 2-day comprehensive ceramics workshop focused on different ways to decorate the ceramic surface. Students will experiment with techniques such as Mishimi, sgraffito, newspaper transfer, wax resist glazing and more. In addition to creating your own original ceramic pieces, students will be provided with fired greenware. All materials and tool are provided, though please bring a lunch. This will be big fun!
Note: This 12-hour workshop split between two days is primarily geared to art educators for their summer in-service requirement. A certification of completion will be provided to art educators at the end of day two. This workshop is exclusive to ISD teachers. No membership discounts can be applied to workshop.
