Design and develop your visual dialogue as you work with multiple materials and create an art piece from concepts including imagery and symbolism. Working with acrylic paint and other items such as paper, fabric, text, found objects or packaging, play with textures and apply various mediums to create a vibrant work of art on a Gessobord.

Discover how to pour colorful acrylic flow art, including how to create beautiful cells. Designed to provide you with all the techniques and insights necessary to create your own artwork. At the same time, you will be introduced to the seven chakras, their related colors and individual attributes. You will learn how imbalances and blockages of the chakras can manifest in your emotional and physical body.

Join this workshop to learn the joys of making a creative artful travel journal. Learn ways to utilize the travel journal before, during and after the trip to extend the joy of your trip. Drawing and journaling your trip is an important method for cementing details into your memory whether the journal itself is the end product or a tool for creating larger, more finished paintings in the future. We will use simple drawing tools, a compact watercolor palette and a spiral bound watercolor sketchbook for this one day workshop. Beginners to intermediate level artists welcomed!

Discover how to use textiles to create beautifully layered compositions in encaustic in this three or six hour workshop taught by Leigh Harrison. We'll also be doing some incising and tinting the surface with pigment sticks. All supplies included. We have plenty of textiles and papers but you are welcome to bring more; thinner textiles and papers are best.
