Kitchen Litho (7/14 Workshop)
Kitchen lithography is a fantastic technique that draws from the principles of traditional lithography but uses items found in your kitchen. Compared to the traditional technique, it's a quick, simplified, non-toxic process. We use common materials you can find in most kitchens: aluminum foil, vegetable oil, and soda.
If you enjoy drawing, and experimenting with mark making, then this workshop will open you to a whole new way of making art; it is designed to introduce a non-toxic alternative, allowing you to print without chemicals and expensive equipment..… If you find this process intriguing, look for our upcoming, 6-week Alternative Litho Class.
No experience necessary, All tools and supplies will be provided. There is a $25 Supply Fee, payable to the studio, DAFPS. Cash, check, Credit Card, or Apple Pay are accepted.
This Workshop is held OFFSITE, in the Artist’s Studio
