Jan Thoms is a mosaic artist who works primarily in the piccasiette style (broken dishes). She studied art in collage & dabbled in various mediums through the years but found her artistic niche through mosaics classes at the CAC. She’s made a work studio in her garage & works surrounded by multiple shelves of dishes ready to break. For several years, she worked as a free-lance Stylist for commercial photographers & as a location coordinator for the Dallas Film Commission. She holds a BA from University of Texas at Arlington.
