This workshop was created to allow your exploration into some Fabric Design and print... so if you like to sew, make books, lampshades, or just want to create a unique set of Tea Towels... this workshop will open the door to so many new ideas.
Using a selection of antique Indian Woodblocks and wooden type, you will begin planning by printing onto paper, designing a pattern. After practicing on a Bandana, choose to create a yard of fabric, a set of Tea Towels, a silk scarf, or bring your own T-shirt. This is a fun workshop exploring the historic practice of Block Printing onto fabric.
There is a $30 supply fee (includes everything for this class), payable to DAFPS w/ cash, check, or CC.
You will be working in a certified Green Printmaking studio, using soy based inks, practicing safe printmaking techniques.
