This intermediate mixed media painting class works with acrylics, oil pastels, and cut paper. Students will work from an approved photo that you will then learn how to enlarge onto a 16x20 or larger canvas or panel. This is not a traditional portrait class, but a contemporary approach to painting with texture, layering, composition and applied materials. Students need to have some painting experience, and you will leave this class with the knowledge of how to enlarge a work of art, use a template, and how to combine different mediums together.

Prerequisite: Some prior painting experience.
