Improve your observation skills, gain confidence and learn to translate what you see onto paper. Regardless of skill level, anyone can learn fundamental drawing techniques to enhance their creative capabilities. This course, for beginners, as well as those who are more advanced, looks at drawing through a series of basic mark-making exercises with related steps of diverse applications to create depth, textures and perspective in a drawing.

Supplies: For the first day of class meeting, please bring a sketchbook (8.5 x 11 in), 2 pencils and 2 erasers (Kneaded, Magic white, or a similar brand), pencil sharpener, 2 ink pens and a ruler. Additional supplies are required for this course; the instructor will have a hand-out of supply list in class.
