Join local jewelry designers Jenifer Christy and Chris Unruh for a fun and inspiring journey into the world of modern jewelry design. We envisioned this course for individuals interested in exploring jewelry making techniques beyond metalsmithing, with focus on creating in resin, plexiglass, rubber, fiber, and non-ferrous metals.

You will learn the basics of resin-including mold making, color mixing, pouring curing, and finishing. You will also learn how to add interest to your designs by painting directly on the resin. In between batches of resin, we will be demonstrating the use of plexiglass, rubber, found objects, wood, toys, and more; with an ai to create fabulous art jewelry! We will also share images and videos culled from our mutual fascination with the world of art jewelry.

By the end of the workshop, you'll leave with a collection of handcrafted pieces that you can be proud of. You will also have gained valuable skills and knowledge to take with you as you continue on your own artistic journey.
