Similar to Japanese stab bound books, this process exposes the stitching on the spine which can also be used to create a decorative element. Unlike the stab binding style, the cover is not made with book binder’s board. Instead, medium weight leather is used for the cover, making the book flexible. This is an ideal beginner style book because it has only a few parts. No gluing is needed and the leather makes it durable. All supplies are included
