For those who want further drawing from observation with an emphasis on colored dry media, this class is for you. Students will learn how to draw with color pencils, pastels, and introduction to watercolor pencils & watercolor brushes. Drawing with Color will emphasize and implement color theory broken down into steps. Project themes are still lives, landscapes, student self-driven assignments. Students will learn about composition, spatial relationship, value contrast, local value/color, light logic, value distribution, pattern, and texture. This class will help students gain confidence to pursue any painting class they may desire.
